A heart-prayer

I find myself incredibly weary, shaken and heartbroken after the events at the Capitol yesterday. As I continue to digest and process our many collective experiences of the past year, my heart offers this prayer. It’s a very simple prayer, yet I hope it invites you into a moment of rest and solidarity today.

A heart-prayer for today

Holy One of unwavering, creative peace, bring healing, justice and unity to humanity and to our country. 

Bless each of us with grace to listen, speak and act from the deepest place of love and goodness of our hearts.

Grant us the wisdom to rest when we are weary, so we may rise again with sacred resilience, together. May it be so.
